Race Through the Wilds

1 VS 1 BATTLE ROUND

You made it through your first test, but the challenge has only just begun! Your next obstacle: A navigational race through the wilderness.

Rangers must navigate through the wilds in a race to the finish. The distance is short, but the land is treacherous! Competitors are required to battle their opponent on the fly, while keeping their ground on hazardous, unfamiliar terrain; they must do everything in power to reach the checkpoint first.

All Round 1 events take place ONE WEEK AFTER PRELIMINARY TESTS
you MUST depict your character winning!

Rules:

-All party Pokemon can aid your trainer, but they cannot be used as transportation; the journey must be made on foot.

Logistics

- The length of the race is approximately 4 miles / 7 km
- This distance can (and should) be covered within one day

from which they must find their own path through The Wastes

Shortly after, they will come upon The Rapids

Where the checkpoint lies at the bottom of the ravine, The Chasm Tree

what is Ibb’s alliance to the White Prince?

Above all else, Ibb wants to protect his home. His allegiance to Einarr is less die-hard loyalty, and more an exchange: Einarr offers the notion of peace, Ibb provides his cooperation.

alright, so do they give each other any direct support before/during the civil war? Im writing Gideon assuming that if some if some town was under attack by Nordbor or Thieves, Einarr would want Ibb to "summon his swiftest archers to pierce the hearts of his foes” (Gideon’s impression)

I guess my question is Ibb wise enough to know what is about to go down, and is this race to find that out? (Is this spoilers)

In a situation like the one you described, it's much more accurate to assume Einarr would have the royal army care of that!

All Round 1 tests are both another challenge to weed out the weaker members, as well as preparation for what may come to pass :>
